Emily Dickinson Lexicon Suite

Emily Dickinson Lexicon Suite

Author: Hallen, Cynthia
Description: Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) wrote nearly 1,800 lyric poems in nineteenth-century American English. The Emily Dickinson Lexicon is a comprehensive dictionary of over 9,275 words and variants found in the collected poems. A team of volunteer lexicographers used the 1851 Johnson edition of the Poems of Emily Dickinson and Noah Webster’s 1844 American Dictionary of the English Language to create entries for the Emily Dickinson Lexicon. Formerly available as a website, these renovated resources are now available as three interactive concordance databases in WordCruncher’s Emily Dickinson Suite.
