In past versions of WordCruncher, the Search Vocabulary report was useful for words, but not as useful for phrases. Now, you can see both word and phrase frequency in the Search Vocabulary report.
What if we measured vocabulary rankings not by the frequency of a word, but by the number of texts in which it occurs? Some words occur many times in a single text, but they aren't common words. Dispersion can say a lot about a word.
You can now filter the WordWheel by using regular expressions (special characters that create a search pattern). Find out how regular expressions can improve your search.
Kyler Rasmussen recently published his research, "On Estimating Evidence." Check out Chapter 13, which mentions data that comes directly from WordCruncher!
