WordCruncher Copy Limits
Copyrighted material
To protect copyrighted works, publishers set limits on the amount users can copy. This limits the amount of text you can copy from BookView and from Search Results. You will see a message each time a limit is exceeded.
Expand your copy limit
If you need a larger copy limit, send us an email at wordcruncher@byu.edu. Answer the following questions in your email:
1. How do you intend to use of the copyrighted material?
2. How much material would you like to copy?
3. How will you protect the copyrighted material you copy?
We will send your request to the publisher. If the publisher approves your request, we will increase your copy limit.
